Limestone has become a favourite choice as a natural stone for patio designs in the UK this last few years. We stock limestone in black, yellow and blue colours. With the Black limestone having a price point half that of Brazilian slate paving, with a striking consistent charcoal grey black colour when dry/unsealed, black limestone has an even more eye-catching dark black colour when sealed with a wet look sealant. Some customers play with this contrast further by using our natural Joint-IT jointing compound others prefer to use the dark grey Joint-IT to make the whole patio space consistently dark.

As a rule we always recommend sealing Limestone as unsealed it is prone to fading from UV exposure. This again can be used to good effect, we have a customer who uses the yellow limestone unsealed, he informs us that it fades to look very much like a traditional York sandstone. Nice trick from a tradesman!

Mintfossil Indian Sandstone paving is a fantastic choice of stone to make a statement in a garden. The light colour of the stone with the inclusion of dark fossils, allows this relatively cheap sandstone to bring a real statement to any outdoor space.

We sell Mint fossil sandstone in a variety of shapes, sizes and finishes, comprising mixed patio packs in a variety of thicknesses including calibrated 22mm slabs and machine cut edge slabs. Also Antiqued also known as tumbled for smoother surface finish, think of how a stone surface losses it’s edges when left in water and you get the idea. We stock same size pallet packs of 900mm x 600mm both a full 18.5sqm and in a half pallet size of 11sqm, 600mm x 600mm and 290mm x 600mm options. All of which are calibrated for ease of laying, with the 900x600 and the 600x 600 available in the machine cut edge option.

A machine cut edge patio slab as the name describes has had the edge cut with a saw giving a flat edge to the paving. This is a modern alternative to the traditional feathered edge found on most paving stones. A hand cut edge or feathered edge paver has is slightly wider at the base than the top creating the classic wedge shape when putting pavers next to each other.

If you have any questions feel free to call Infinite Paving on  0117 926 9020 and we will be happy to help guide you through the options in your choice of stone.

Offering more to our customers

Welcome to Infinite Paving Ltd first blog post. This Blog is going to be a place of easy reference for our customers to help you choose the stone paving that is perfect for your home.

In this blog we will talk about all the paving stone we stock, covering Indian sandstone and limestone, Brazilian slate and Granite's popularity in the UK, the different options and ways to add more creativity to your stone project.  We will cover everything to help customers make a informed decision on their purchase.

To start things off let me share a little about our company. Since 2009 Infinite Paving Ltd  have been offering premium natural stone to customers in the UK. In a marked contrast to larger companies, Infinite Paving Ltd independently sources products from the most reliable and high quality mines in India and abroad.  Whilst managing to reduce costs and overheads so much that we are recognised as one of the cheapest suppliers of natural stone paving in the UK.  With a very wide selection of size and cut options for our natural paving stone we also supply sandstone cobbles, walling, circles and now jointing compound from Joint-IT a leader in resin based jointing products.

Originally based in Bristol we have moved offices to East Sussex though all our stone comes out of the Tilbury docks in Essex.

Over the years Infinite Paving Ltd has broadened it's appeal and grown to include limestone from India, granite from China and Brazilian slate.

A great example of our diversity of choice is the every popular Raj Green Indian Sandstone.

Raj Green paving has become popular in the UK for its resistance to the English weather, and affordability. Raj green is also one of the densest Indian sandstones making for easier maintenance and of course due to the Raj Green colours making gorgeous patios.

Within our Raj Green selection you will find patio packs in no less than five different options, 900 x 600mm pavers in three choices and two other standard sizes. That's just talking about the hand split / riven Raj Green we also stock the Honed and shot blasted Raj Green natural paving with another eight possible sizes and finishes.

In a later blog I will break down the options in our stone to clarify all that choice. For now if you have any questions I am always happy to talk you through our stone offerings to help simplify finding the perfect stone paving for you. Call Frank on 0117 926 9020.
